The EMHS Library mission is two-fold:

  •  to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information

  • to promote books and reading as a life-long source of pleasure and    information.

Librarian: Mrs. Mona LaCour

Library Clerk: Mrs. Julie Champagne

The library provides students with access to a variety of resources and services, including books, newspapers, magazines, computers, an online public access card catalog, the Internet, online databases, CD-ROM'S, recorded books, printers, a copier and a supply store.

There is a charge for printing, copying, and supplies.

In accordance with Terrebonne Parish School Board policy, students who want to use the Internet must complete, sign, and have a parent/guardian sign a Computer and Internet Use form, which is kept on file in the library.

A valid school ID is required to check out books.  Fines of $.05 per school day are charged for overdue books.  Some books (reserves, reference books, etc) are charged fines of $.25 per school day.
