Children are allowed to enroll in band as 5th graders and receive pre-band instruction as 4th graders.
4-H
Our schools 4-H club consistently wins awards in cooking contests and has had many parish-wide achievements.
Computer Lab
We have a lab with 27 computers and we also have a mobile wireless laptop lab that can be used in classrooms.
Library
Our library has a wide variety of Accelerated Reader books on all levels. It also has a computer center where students can take AR tests, use the online card catalog, and access the web for research projects.
Reading Recovery
1st graders needing one-on-one instruction in reading take part in a 20 week reading program to reinforce necessary skills needed for success in reading.
