SPANISH I
is designed to provide students with an
elementary knowledge of Spanish culture
and language with an emphasis on
development of all four language skills:
speaking, listening, reading and
writing. Students are expected to learn
to use Spanish for communication in
real, meaningful situations. Classroom
time will be devoted almost entirely to
practice skills of understanding and
interacting in Spanish. Students will be
introduced to the culture and history of
the Hispanic world.
SPANISH II
is designed to provide students with an
intermediate knowledge of Spanish
culture and language with an emphasis on
development of all four language skills:
speaking, listening, reading and
writing. Students are expected to learn
to use Spanish for communication in
