THS STUDENTS WIN AWARDS AT STATE LITERARY
RALLY:
THS congratulates Tara Hebert for winning
First Place in Journalism I in the Louisiana
State Literary Rally in LSU, Baton Rouge.
Also, three students obtained a rating of
one in the Choir Competition at the
state level: Regan Smith, Auriell Celestine,
and Megan Cenac.
THS congratulates these exemplary students
for their achievements and effort.
2011 STATE LITERARY, ART, SPEECH, MUSIC, AND
DRAMA RALLIES:
The 2011 District Literary, Art, Speech
Rallies will be held on Saturday, March 19th,
and Drama and Music Rallies on Saturday,
March 26th, on the campus of
Nicholls
State University. Students compete in the
academic competitions by taking multiple
choice tests in the subject area for which
they were selected. Top scoring students
have a chance to participate in the State
Literary Rally in
Baton Rouge, which is
scheduled for April 16th, 2011.
