FREE TUTORING OFFERED AT THS:

THS teachers will offer free tutoring in various disciplines. If your child needs extra assistance, please take advantage of the opportunity these teachers are offering. Our teachers are volunteering their time after school to tutor students.

English:

Julie Bernard

· I have offered tutoring to any of my students after school by appointment.

Darlene Hoob

· I will be tutoring students that have done poorly on tests and then allowing them to retest. I will be offering these sessions after school.

Math:

Arlene DeHart

· I am available at 6:55 am, 2^nd half of lunch, and after school.

Evette Detiveaux

· I offer tutoring to my students after school. They are also able to come in before school and at lunch if they have minor questions.

Joe McElroy

· I offer extra help during lunch when I am not on duty.

Denise C. Saucier

· I offer tutoring on and as need basis throughout the school year.

Jeanie L. Webre

· I offer students tutoring at lunch every other week (the weeks I am not on duty), as well as in the morning or afternoon if they request this – I inform them at least once a week that this is available.

Science:

· Before school, after school (except Fridays) and lunch (except Fridays)

Social Studies:

Leslie Davenport

· I offer Civics tutoring on Wednesday’s after school.

Courtney Thibodeaux

· I am offering tutoring for my students at lunch before test days. I also allow students to make up tests after school on designated days.

Foreign Language:

Ana Contreras

· I offer tutoring after 2:15 as needed, specially the day before a test (usually on Thursdays b/c I test on Fridays) and during lunch when I don’t have duty.

Mayelin Morales

· Every Thursday after 2:15

Traci Shafer

· I am offering tutoring to all of my French students. I would also be willing to tutor students in English or Spanish as well. My Key Club will be offering tutoring in a variety of subjects. Please see me if a tutor is needed and I can seek out a student to fill that need.
